Student Leadership Network supports life-changing programs that empower youth from underserved communities to break the cycle of poverty through education:
- The Young Women’s Leadership Schools (TYWLS), a high performing network of five NYC all-girls public secondary schools.
- CollegeBound Initiative (CBI), a comprehensive college access program for young women and men across 31 NYC public high schools, currently impacting more than 16,000 students.
- Young Women’s Leadership Network (YWLN), a national network of all-girls schools including six affiliate schools in California, Maryland, Missouri, New York, and North Carolina, and our partner network of 10 schools in Texas, the Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN).
Since 2001, Student Leadership Network has helped more than 17,000 students enroll in college who have secured an estimated $700 million in financial aid and scholarships to enable them to persist there.
