Registration is now open for Student Leadership Network’s Whole Girl Education National Conference in New York City at Nightingale-Bamford School from March 17-19, 2024.
At the Whole Girl Education National Conference, you’ll reconnect with, learn from, and be inspired by fellow educators and equity advocates. Our speaker lineup is growing, and we’re delighted to announce that Tina Tchen, EVP and Chief Strategy and Impact Officer of the Obama Foundation, and Ruha Benjamin, Sociologist and Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University, will be offering plenary sessions. Valerie Jarrett, CEO of the Obama Foundation, will be joining us for a special reception. The theme of the conference is CLOSING THE GAP: The Role of Girls’ Education in Creating a More Equitable World.
Interactive breakout sessions will explore this theme with practical applications for the classroom, school culture, and broader community engagement.
The community-generated program will also showcase exciting workshops from YOU, our network of passionate educators and partners! Presenting a content-rich session individually or as part of a team is a wonderful way to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas. We would love to have educators like yourself present at the conference! Learn more about the breakout sessions and submit your proposal here!
