The Pandemic Is Shaking Up and Slowing down the College Application Process

New York City Public School seniors report that the pandemic has made applying to college harder than ever as they navigate the process remotely and juggle new responsibilities for their families.

Experts said these obstacles have delayed the application process, and may also be deterring students from low-income families from applying at all.
