“We have about 55 women from across Rochester here to talk about their careers, their journeys, and just what they do every day,” said Principal of Young Women’s College Prep Charter School Sheri Webber. “Our kids know the careers that are within their families and within their households, so to expose them to something outside of that and to see that lightbulb moment go off, like, ‘That’s what I wanna do’, it’s amazing. Our job is to make sure we set them up for success and an event like this really helps that happen.”
