College Persistence Emergency Fund

The Student Leadership Network College Persistence team supports CBI and TYWLS graduates with post-secondary persistence and success. The alumni emergency fund aims to provide small financial awards ($350 dollars max) to alumni experiencing unexpected financial hardship or an emergency circumstance that, if left unaddressed, may impact their ability to complete a post-secondary credential or certification program. For consideration, please read the general guidelines and complete the application below. The alumni team will review applications on an ongoing basis and follow up with an application status within two weeks.

General Guidelines for Application:

  • You must be currently enrolled in a degree/ apprenticeship program and in good academic standing. Verification of your enrollment and/or good standing will be required.
  • Alumni applicant may be experiencing financial hardship, a medical/health emergency, or an unforeseen circumstance. To request emergency funding, you will need to provide additional context on your circumstance in the application below.
  • Emergency funds must be used to directly meet the student applicant’s need. Requesting emergency aid to address a family circumstance is not permitted.
  • The MAXIMUM amount of support you can receive is $350.
  • If approved, emergency funding will be dispersed on a one-time basis via electronic gift card. Emergency funding cannot be used for reoccurring costs.
