City Parks Foundation Honors TYWLS Bronx Principal

Devon Eisenberg, Principal of The Young Women’s Leadership School (TYWLS) of the Bronx, received the City Parks Foundation’s People & Parks Award in recognition of her leadership. She incorporates city parks into learning opportunities through City Parks Foundation’s Seeds to Trees program, providing outdoor field experiences and hands-on science activities for students.

School principals from The Young Women’s Leadership Schools from every borough and colleagues from Student Leadership Network were in attendance to celebrate Principal Eisenberg.

The event also honored Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer and President of National Programming for iHeartMedia, with its SummerStage Icon Award. Guests enjoyed a star-studded evening in Central Park with musical performances by Tim McGraw and Train.
