Save the date for the Global Forum on Girls’ Education – February 7-9, 2016 in New York City!

The 2016 Global Forum on Girls’ Education, Creating a World of Possibilities, will be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York, NY, February 7-9, 2016. YWLN is a founding partner of this conference, along with host organization National Coalition for Girls’ Schools. This groundbreaking conference is hosted in partnership with pre-eminent educational organizations from all over the globe including the Girls’ Schools Association (U.K.), Alliance of Girls Schools Australasia, Philippine Alliance for Girls’ Education, European Association of Single-Sex EducationYoung Women’s Preparatory NetworkCanadian Accredited Independent SchoolsSouth African Girls’ Schools AssociationIndependent Schools Association of Southern Africa, and New York State Association of Independent Schools.

The Global Forum will be an opportunity to bring together the leading educators, researchers, advocates, authors, practitioners, and related-industry leaders from across the globe to exchange best practices and innovative approaches for academic excellence and the healthy development of girls. We will address themes and topics that are universal in nature, such as Leadership, Health & Wellness, STEAM, Civic/Community Engagement, Classroom Innovation, Strategic School Advancement, Testing & Assessment, and Teaching & Curriculum.

YWLN will sponsor a dedicated Public School Symposium on Sunday, February 7. This symposium is in honor of the 20th anniversary of the founding of TYWLS of East Harlem, which changed the landscape for all-girls public education in the U.S.
