QuestBridge and Posse Foundation Scholars 2026: Making College Affordable and Attainable

We’re thrilled to start off the new year with our seniors’ remarkable achievements. Among Student Leadership Network’s high school Class of 2026, over 1,000 early college acceptances include nine QuestBridge and four Posse Foundation Scholars! The competitive programs partner with selective private colleges and universities to offer full-tuition scholarships and support for college and career success.

Our Directors of College Counseling (DCCs) championed each student throughout the journey, from early exposure to distinguished scholarship opportunities to college trips at partner institutions for first-hand campus experiences. From helping students find the right academic, social, and financial fit to guiding them through scholarship essays and interview preparation, our DCCs supported our students’ dedication and demonstrated the transformative power of personalized college counseling.

“I want all of our QuestBridge and Posse winners to know that they deserve this opportunity. The institutions that chose them saw something special and believed they could succeed on their campuses.” -Gina Jones, Director of College Counseling at Bronx Envision Academy

“I want all of our QuestBridge and Posse winners to know that they deserve this opportunity. They put in the dedication and hard work into their applications. The institutions that chose them saw something special and believed they could succeed on their campuses,” said Gina Jones, DCC at Bronx Envision Academy. “The DCC helps support students with their applications and submits the materials on time, but really it’s the student’s academics, personal background, and grit that take them to the finish line.”

Congratulations to all of the scholarship winners!

QuestBridge Match Scholarship Recipients earn early admission and a full four-year scholarship to a QuestBridge college partner, which covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing and food, books and supplies, and travel expenses. Scholars are already proven leaders: 91% held leadership roles in extracurricular activities, and 75% maintained home responsibilities, such as caring for family members and managing household finances.

Kevin Sanchez, DCC at the Bronx’s Laboratory School for Finance and Technology, encouraged his students to explore scholarship programs thoughtfully and with an open mind. “Paige and Katherine were part of a group of students who were aware of opportunities such as Posse and Questbridge. Building on these interests, they participated in CBI trips, roundtables, and college visits to identify their best post-secondary options. They recognized the importance of understanding expectations and deadlines early to prepare strong applications. We’re proud of all of the Questbridge Finalists at Lab this year!”

Posse Foundation Scholars attend college or university in supportive, multicultural groups of ten students, or “Posses,” at each institution. With mentoring and full-tuition scholarships from partner colleges, Posse Scholars graduate at a rate of 90%, and nearly half of their alumni pursue a graduate degree within five years of college graduation.
