SUMMARY:Common Metrics\, Uncommon Solutions
DESCRIPTION: \n  \nAbout the event: \nWe are excited to present a virtual conversation with funders and program staff on aligning outcomes and mapping value across the diverse landscape of college access and success! Join us in conversation with NCAN and Carnegie Corporation for capturing success for College Access & Success programs. \nMeet our panelists: \n Farhad Asghar is a program officer with the Carnegie Corporation’s education program\, where he manages the Pathways to Postsecondary Success portfolio. Farhad oversees grantmaking that supports practices and policies aimed at creating flexible pathways for students throughout their K–16 education with the goal of college completion and preparing students for work and careers. \n  \n  \nBill DeBaun is the director of data and evaluation at NCAN. In that role\, he researches and writes about college access and success programming that demonstrates significant results for students’ college enrollment and graduation rates while additionally providing technical assistance to other initiatives. Mr. DeBaun leads NCAN’s Benchmarking Project\, an ongoing collaborative research effort with NCAN members that examines the enrollment and completion outcomes of students served by college access and success programs. \n  \nJon Roure is the Executive Vice President & Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at Student Leadership Network. As the organization’s first CIO\, Jon oversees program planning and implementation across the network. He provides overall leadership to the CollegeBound Initiative (CBI) while developing the workstreams to support the organization’s strategic planning efforts. These include an increased focus on alumni engagement\, research and evaluation\, and national expansion via Young Women’s Leadership Network affiliate schools. \n  \nFor more information please contact Aaron Hawn\, Director of Research & Evaluation – ahawn@studentleadershipnetwork.org
